Creativity and Intuition

I believe that intuition is a sense that we all possess just like smell, taste, hearing, touching and sight and is often referred to as our sixth sense. As one of our senses, it is there to help us explore the world by guiding us physically and emotionally to what best ( or does not) serve us. Unfortunately, we are not often taught how to listen to this incredibly, valuable faculty.

I have always been in touch with this guidance system within myself. As a little child, I had many experiences of connecting to my inner hunches and was encouraged to by my parents. My Father taught me dowsing as a young child, something that has been in my Fathers heritage line for probably hundreds of years. The dowsing rods respond to shifts in energy, flow of water, energetic patterns and connections, just as our intuition responds to the energy of things around us and within us.

I am working on a new teaching program that integrates intuition with another of our human faculties, that of creativity and I believe that combining the two can bring an opening to the both. Intuition, opening to the boundless knowing of self and guidance in the surrounding world and creativity, the limitless expression of it all. Opening to the creative imagination, is like opening a door within your soul, allowing you to express yourself, requires letting go, perhaps to a greater part of yourself, perhaps to a greater cosmic consciousness. Intuition taps into this same boundless frontier. Part of my hope as a teacher is to help create a safe place for meeting these important parts of self and in turn find richer personal life experiences.

Ill be teaching a workshop in May 2022 at the beautiful Gray Haven Inn in Georgetown, Maine through the Acadian Arts program. This workshop is now full but there will be more to follow. I am also working on a set of cards and a booklet to assist with prompts and exercises.

I look forward to this new phase of my teaching and experience.
