I enjoy teaching and here you will see some images of some of my classes for adults and children. I presently am teaching classes in Bath at the Centre Street Art Gallery and then traveling to teach in other Maine locations. I offer classes for beginners- advanced in Drawing, Watercolor, Oil, Mixed Media, Gouache, Silverpoint and also classes in Intuitive Art Making, Sacred Geometry. Gouache and Watercolor

INFORMATION ABOUT THE OPEN STUDIO CLASS NOW OFFERED IN GOUACHE AND WATERCOLOR!

Bring your own materials, if not you can use the studio’s for $35 fee.
We will be creating a 4 week work plan that includes homework and the desired outcome for our time together.
Each week, we will begin with a demo, a prompt, a question and /or group discussion and then begin to work individually on our projects. I will bring something in case you can’t that hopefully aligns with yours.
If you want to focus on abstraction, or realism, or plein air, in gouache or watercolor, you get to choose and I will work to support you.
It would be helpful to write out what your personal goals are for the 4 weeks. It might also be helpful to keep a journal in your sketchbook of the process. It is also helpful to set homework schedules that you can reasonably follow.
I will also be available through the week if you want to check in and get assistance or have any questions.
My goal for this course is for you to commit to your art in a deeper and truer way and too support you through the process however I can.
If there are techniques that you want to learn, please just ask, we will work on those during class hours.
